You may recognise SARAH GODFREY from Channel Nine’s THE FARMER WANTS A WIFE. The statuseque blonde went on the reality show, hoping to meet her prince charming. While she didn’t end up with farmer Kieran, the glamorous model says the show did open doors.

We caught up with the aspiring journalist for a chat on fashion, farmers and her campaign for Autism Awareness.

Sarah, how long have you been modelling for?

I have been modelling since I was 14 years old. It’s definitely one of my passions. The work I am currently doing is photographic, editorial, commercial, catwalk and presenting.

I am currently a model and Brand Ambassador for Bodyography make up, Lady Jane Healthy Living and also Amy Lea Taylor designs.

What was it like doing THE FARMER WANTS A WIFE? Has it changed your life in any way?

The Farmer Wants a Wife was an amazing experience. I definitely learnt a lot about myself and met some really great people along the way. Yes my life has changed since the show – many exciting opportunities have come my way.

Have you met anyone since? A farmer maybe?

I am currently single so no farmers in my life at the moment. What is it like being a model on the Gold Coast? Is there a lot of work here or do you have to travel to keep busy?

I actually get a lot of modeling work on the Gold Coast which is great – I love living on the Coast. I do also travel to Melbourne and Sydney a lot for work.

How would you describe a day in your life?
My life is very hectic! I am always on the go – casting, jobs, and also university so never a dull moment. I am always in my car travelling from casting and photo shoots.

How would you describe your style?

Comfort is always a plus as I am always on the go I would say my style would be causal trendy and also glamorous.

Who is your fashion icon?

It would have to be Jennifer Hawkins. I love her sense of fashion she always looks absolutely amazing head to toe.

What is your favorite item in your wardrobe?

I am a denim fan that’s for sure. I have every kind of denim you can think, from funky to a dressy.

What do you love most about the Gold Coast?

I love the weather, and I love the lifestyle. I don’t think you can have this lifestyle any where else in the world and I am sure many of you locals would agree.

What do you think of Gold Coast fashion?

I think Gold Coast fashion has definitely stepped up to the plate. Sydney and Melbourne are still ahead of us that’s for sure , but then they are the fashion capitals of Australia.

What is your favourite fashion store on the Gold Coast?

I love Venus and Apollon. It’s a unique boutique with fashion labels from around the world and Australia. I love fashion that’s a bit different, that you don’t see all the time.

If you could live anywhere in the world beside Australia, where would it be?

Definitely the US, I lived over their when I was younger and absolutely loved it in the States.

You ran the half marathon in the Gold Marathon to raise awareness of autism. How did you go?

Unfortunately I have been struggling with a knee issue the past couple of weeks so I did struggle a but I did it for a good cause so that was the main reason behind it. I’m actually coming on board with Autism Queensland as their ambassador. I actually saw their story on A Current Affair and it really inspired me. I’ve never had to deal with anything like that before and I really felt for the families. The families as well as the child are affected and I think it really takes a big toll on everyones lives. I thought I’d really like to help this charity and do whatever I can!
